As the tire choice for the standard wheels has dwindled down to Toyo T1R's I finally made the decision to get some 17s. Found myself a set of SSR Integral A2s and now I'm looking for some rubber.
Having done some research I've seen a lot of posts comparing the Nankang NS2R to the AD-08... I don't want to get into too much of a discussion but wanted to see if anyone had used a set of NS2Rs and if they are any good?

You don't mention whether you're after a road or track oriented tyre.
Also if it's road whether you're using the car during the winter months.
If so, wet weather/low double digit temps performance is paramount.*
They have changed the tyre compound from the old AD08R to the new AD08RS which from what i have heard is not as good as the old one in every way. So i would check your comparisons are between the new one compound and the NS2R. I currently have the old AD08 on mine and have been very happy and will drive in the cold and wet with them without really any issues if your not pushing it. i have no experience with the NS2R myself.
As Tony says it depends on your use of the car too as to which you want as if its only warm dry days something more aggressive like an R888R might be better.
My car came with Nankang NS-2's back in the day. Total ditch finders in the wet, cheap crap that looks nice on the wheel and that's all. Will never buy Nankang,
I've been experimenting and running many brands, Falken Azenis FK510 3 sets very very good tyre,Toyo Proxies T sport Mitchelin PilotSport4 ,Uniroyal Rainsport3 rubbish would never buy them.
Falken Azenis FK510 or Mitchelin PilotSport4 Falkens are cheaper and it's a hard choice between too.
