Hmmm...would like to say I'd be there but it depends on factors such as the weather and my car. IF my car is still in a fit state to drive (found out this weekend the clutch is on its way out :crybaby: ) AND I can get out of my drive I may well be there with my beauty.
If all else fails, Extreme can have a co-pilot :D

Not that he knows this yet :laughing

The only way a public UK road is "good for over 130mph" is if it's closed to the public and setup as a race track! Driving at over twice the speed limit on rural roads is irresponsible in the extreme. I'm not suggesting you would actually do this, Phil, but we just need to be clear the club does not condone illegal speed in any way

As with all driving, our meets are covered by UK road law. Please see here: http://www.mr2oc.co.uk/forums/63/132190.html

Anyway, with that said, welcome to the club, Phil... do make your way to the Introduce Yourself forum to say hi and post some pics of your car :th:

I should do at least one meet a year.

I'll probably have squeaky brakes still though.

See you all there if not before.

I think we should do a Bristol tunnel run, we haven't had one in ages!
I'll 2nd that, since never done one! The other suggestions sound good too. :)

Ok...now we have this sorted then...130MPH along the way (maybe stop at a pub) and then handbrake turns/donuts at Cheddar Gorge?

Nice one, I'm in!

My deux wont be out until March at the latest. No point re-taxing and insuring until we know the cold weather has been and gone.

I would however like to be a +1 in anyones tubby... I'll let you lot fight over who gets me.
