Listen to the echo in here....
Blimey, where has the south west area gone?
Is there anyone out there interested in meeting up sometime and doing something?
It could all start here

Re: Listen to the echo in here....
Hey mate, long time no speak
I think the problem has been that a lot of the South West regulars have either moved on or moved away
Myself and Shinny have moved away, Drew is wrapped up with his family although keeps threatening to drag his car back out, Lisa has moved on (now has an EVO) , Stuart (midlifecrisis) has sold on.....
I have seen quite a few posts from new members down there though so there is hope

Re: Listen to the echo in here....
Hi there Jay,
I hope things are well with you? I can remember you had a lot of bad luck with your turbos at the time. Where are you these days?
I can see a lot of the old faces have moved on but its a shame that nobody was/is waiting in the wings to fill the void.
Oh well, no to worry. I will keep an eye on here and see what happens.
the trouble is Myself and Mad are along way apart. That's the problem with the SW area. It's a big 'un.

Re: Listen to the echo in here....
Not bad actually thanks mate - the rev3 turbo is nearly finished now (wheels and coilovers left to do) and looking forward to the show season now....
Moved away to Northampton 2 1/2 years ago now and haven't looked back. Got a little girl now as well.
So yeah, all change from the early days
How's things your end?

Re: Listen to the echo in here....
All good this end, ta. Me and the Wife have four cars between us now, two each. That lot does keep me on my toes a bit keeping on top of everything that needs doing. Not much else has changed though, same house and all that.MR2Jay wrote:Not bad actually thanks mate - the rev3 turbo is nearly finished now (wheels and coilovers left to do) and looking forward to the show season now....

I was up your way a couple of weeks ago at Festo's head office. Small world.

I'm here too!
I'm pretty new here, I'm only 16 at the moment but I have a MK1 B model, I want to attend some meetings or shows but I don't know if I would be on my own :(

Re: Listen to the echo in here....
Sorry about the late reply to you boys. I thought this thread had fallen flat on its "censored".
How do Gaz, I'm alright as is Chan. The only thing that has changed is that we got married a couple of years back but that is it. I hope all is well with yourself, Lou and the little ones.
I have checked the calender and I'm free on Yeovilton Air day, suprisingly, so could be interested if enough of us fancied going.
I'm in if anyone else is.

I'm in the South West! Unfortunately I'm right down in Falmouth so meeting up is difficult :( Generally I try and synchronize meets and car shows with driving up to London to see my bf oddshoes
