Looking at Folly its a flat-out corner, what sort of speed will you be approaching quarry at?

Also if function mounts are a no go, then what about go-pro fixed sticky mounts? Could always put one inside a window, apparently they come off no issues with a hair dryer.... Technically a fixed mount.

Hopefully that should help
Braking will be unbalanced without carbotech pads in the rear, I tried it, felt horrible as the front brakes so well the rear wasn't doing enough

I've got the front carbotechs for half the normal price for nearly new ones so in don't want to be paying full whack for the rears. Will it be better to put something like ebc yellows on the rear or if not what would you recommend?

Stay away from ebc!

I couldn't afford carbotech rears when I needed rears, I put black Diamond predators in, they're twenty times better than the ebc yellowstuff they replaced

Also where is the cheapest place to buy predator rear pads for my rev 2 turbo as I have had my braided lines and carbotech fronts delivered now.

Dc performance is cheaper than fensport although fensport service is excellent

As for helmets it's worth getting a cheap one rather than hiring as at least you know it's history. I got a fully approved one from Aldi for about £30

For anyone who's interested I bought one of these a couple of years back for one of Jay's Silverstone sessions and has done an awesome job since. Has full EU approval and only costs £30, well worth it if you think you'll go on track again.

Found this guide for castle coombe. It's written for a Porsche 911 but it gives a bit of insight for those of us that have never driven the circuit.

Not so much that I might bin it, more if some talentless pleb tries driving beyond their limits and bins it into me.
