Well Japfest 2015 is finished and i got plenty of photos and a vid of my first track session for you all to laugh at. I had a brilliant time and im hoping to get to more shows this year though most of the season i am working
Please put names to faces (or cars in this case).

Couldnt be bothered in detailing it as I knew it was going on track and its covered in scratches and rattle can paint!

And then the vid of the first time ive ever been on track. I took it easy the first lap or so and made sure I had space by letting others go (though i didnt have much choice lol).
The car performed brilliantly and my plan was to just push the car as hard as i could. I wasnt racing or time keeping.
The back end twitched a couple of times so I knew i was pushing my limit at the time and so was happy with the session. Ive now got the bug and have been hunting on line all day for track sessions at different venues lol.

Also this is my first go pro edit and the song continues a bit longer than vid at the end.

Great photos of our stand cars and the few that managed to get out on track, mine is the first turquoise one (I was surprised there were 3 of them this colour there :P )

I've just got home, checking out my own vids too, ill be sure to pop the good one up!
shame i never got to chat with you.
i was parking all over the place with a session in the morning and afternoon.

my first session i ran into brake issues which was a surprise,
second session, when i was quicker, no brake problems though i was very cautious

odd.
looking at my rough timings, think one of my better times was around a 1.26-ish
looking back (this had traffic, is unavoidable really), i can see i was taking 'the esses' to 'old paddock bend' on the wrong line.
and the 2 chicains mostly in 3rd, when i probably should have dropped to 2nd.
both times i dropped to 2nd, i got away quicker, not sure why i didn't drop down another peg all the time.
i think i wanted as few gear changes as possible!! ha

great day, and some nice pics too!
sort the sound out, ha!

though i can't say much, having the tbar out, my footage is very windy!

I will reupload tommorow. I seem to have a issue with my PC being slow when processing too.

My brakes started to fade then got better . I put second hand nearly new carbotechs on the front and brand new predators on the rear. Tbh I hadn't bedded them in. Literally had run the car to japfest for bedding in. Lol.
By the time I drove home they were awesome
