Nice pics Luke.
How do you post pics in there mate? I can't find anything that explains how to do it.
Btw, you'll need to edit the caption to the pic of Caroline's car. My Rev5 is Cosmos Blue and it's deffo not that colour! Try Caribbean Blue!

Well I've managed to create a gallery but I haven't a clue how to get pics into it.jimi wrote:Try the site FAQ's CLICKYTonyleFrog wrote: Ditto.

Clicking on Browse doesn't link to where my pics are stored.
Plus I've tried loading them onto this thread but when I preview them they're coming out cropped. In several cases this completely ruins the image.
And the icing on the cake is that having painstakingly posted all the image links they then magically disappeared leaving a blank text box!
Plus typing this, I am watching the letters appearing one at a time in slow motion.
Frustrating doesn't even begin to describe it.
I'm not sure I can be bothered to go through it all again, so my fellow Irish Drivers' blushes may yet be spared. :whistling:

Clicking browse will take you your pc. It will not take you to any online storage. The idea is that you upload them from your pc to the club server. So with your pics in a folder on your pc, click browse go to the folder containing the pics and select the pic to upload, you can upload 10 at once, I've just uploaded 1 pic to your gallery as a test, works fine

Thanks for the heads-up Jimi. I'll give it a try. Is there a way to delete a pic if I upload it in error?jimi wrote:Clicking browse will take you your pc. It will not take you to any online storage. Would still like to know why the site crops my online pics when I try to post them in the Events sub forum. It never did this on the old one and it's a right pain tbh.

You may find that it only crops them in the preview, when you submit the post the pic shows OK, at least I've noticed that with some of mine

OK mate I'll give it a go. The Gallery is far too time consuming AFAIAC (probably doing something wrong but tbh I just don't have enough time to spend on it).jimi wrote:You may find that it only crops them in the preview, when you submit the post the pic shows OK, at least I've noticed that with some of mine

Re: Pictures from Ireland run 2009
Day 1
I bet you didn't know Scotland has an active volcano!
Guess who forgot to store the number in the phone's memory......................
Bob tests the group on their route knowledge
Irish eyes aren't the only ones that smile
Antrim coastline
The convoy on the coast road near Torr Head
Shame about the fence, but it was aim and click while going down a very steep hill!!
French tourists admiring the view at Giants Causeway
OK you two, what's so interesting up there?
Looking West - Donegal coast on the horizon
You can run but you can't hide. Meanwhile Tam appears to have gone AWOL. Nice rocks btw
They all went THAT way!!
The long trek back begins
Hello, operator? I need to make a reverse call charge to Mars. Tell them it's Ripley!
One small step for mankind................
Contemplating a new life in America or still trying to locate Tam?
Oi, you thieving scumbags that's MY slice of cake!!!!
The tax disc inspector on the prowl.............
B road fly-by
Link to the rest of my Day 1 pics here

More for days 2,3, & 4 to follow
