The fwd winner was a corsa with a 2ltr 16v on 150bhp of nos doing 12.2 !!!!!!

I said this on imoc and one guy went mad. 700bhp with the best time of 13seconds lmao. I got a 13.6 in my standardish rev2 tubby with a mbc at 15psi (about 250bhp). even if they were to spin 1st and 2nd, 3rd gear should be flying past mine.

Anyways, some of the best bodywork at the whole show.......

I know - a little disapointed at the stickers all over it but not my car anymore and some are for the race anyway.

I think she ran a 13 - she had really bad starts and kept hitting the limiter. The car has well over 500 bhp now.

Well the driver of the MR2 was certainly an amatuer - he'd never drag raced before - so that puts them on an even footing. Andrew's MR2 is an 11 second car with a little practice and a more capable clutch.

I think you all forget that the relationship between quarter mile times and horsepower is a geometric one, and that horsepower is not the only thing required to drag race...
