What a Weekend
Well what can be said that hasn't already been said by everyone else,
A huge thanks and congratulations to the organisers for this years stand, it turned out fantastic,
To all the IKO competitors and supporters, each and everyone of you deserves recognition for your efforts, it means so much to those competing to have the support on the side lines, it gives the competitors a second wind when there just about to collapes through exhaustion and burning muscles, Thank You
A HUGE well done and congratulations to the Light weight TOW team you did amazing, you had a lot harder time than the Heavy weight team who walked through there comp, a well deserved win.
Heavy Weight TOW team what can I say.... we did it again, well done lads same time same place next year
Football Guys sorry I didn't get to see any of your games, but well done with your first match but commiserations on not getting through,
You all deserve recognition for what you have managed this weekend, that will happen with all the photos that will be around in the next few days.
It has been so nice to meet up with all our old friends and catch up, and it was fantastic to meet so many new faces, and we hope to see you all very soon.
JAE is just getting better and better,

Re: What a Weekend
Well said Justin.
Well done on your 2 solo events bud, you nailed the car pull as usual, get practicing on the endurance though, you had competition!
Massive thanks to all who competed. I was broken after the Dragon Boat racing Training will start after Christmas I promise Gaz
And to anyone who competed:
Tallboy: "I swear Gaz gets more scary every year"
It's true.

All I can add is what a great 4 days with old friends and new, TLF well ( I love you hunny ) but what a laugh we had, I`m now relaxing after a take away for tea ( no food/milk/beer in the house ) and a nice hot shower, roll on the pain in the morning, I`m armed and ready with the pain killers if I manage to get out of the bed
New Hubby, New House, New start what more could i want ?

Re: What a Weekend
Could not have put it better myself Justin, always a pleasure to see faces old and new.
Although the old ones are definitely getting older and personally I am finding the camping harder each year and binned my leaking tent, wet quilt, sleeping bags, airbed so probably hotel next year I think.

Re: What a Weekend
I don't care what you say - there are two major advantages in staying at a hotel/B&B.peteV6R5 wrote:all you young whipper snappers - no staying power
1. No waiting for a shower plus you can take as long as you like without upsetting anyone.
2. Someone else takes care of the washing up after breakfast.
If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room!

1. Festival spray aka Lynx - don't have to be up at a certain time and no queueTonyleFrog wrote:I don't care what you say - there are two major advantages in staying at a hotel/B&B.

2. Disposable party pack cutlery plates and cups - you even get enough for 2 for 4 days
Having said that, I'm a tent pole down (my superman impression on my tent thursday night was probably not the best way to open it) and my back is still killing me! B&B sounding tempting!
