Curfew....

Post by d-peg »

I had several complaints on the morning after and via pm about the rowdy early hours of Sunday morning. Ashamed to say that up until 2:30 ish - and was part of that

As Gaz has already done so, I would like to publicly apologise for my volume that night. It's not something you think of when you're having a good time with friends. So, I am sorry to all those that lost sleep that night.

I don't want to be a killjoy either. So it would make sense that, if we are to be up drinking till the small hours we perhaps stop the rowdiness and drinking games after a certain time (1:30 / 2am has been suggested). That way the chat can continue at a sensible level (along with the booze) and the good folk of MR2OC and the surrounding clubs can get some sleep! :th:

Thanks,
Dan

Cerfew Dan ;)

I was a moaner and I'm not going to say I wasn't (one person got off lucky!), but we do need to have a bit of understanding of the other club members (and those next to us) and where they have to travel the next day to need a bit of kip beforehand. Also, no members of other people from ABC car clubs left in the club stand after a sensible time as above.

Enjoy the time by all means, but if Saturday was to go by, don't take the p i s s, people have children present, and lets all be sensible.

I can also only apologise unreservedly. We had no time appreciation, or idea of volume. Being drunk isn't an excuse.

I didn't realise how we had P I ssed people off, I would have been a lot more apologetic on Sunday if I had of known. Thank you to the member who just phoned me to rightfully put me in my place.

Sorry guys. I can certainly assure you won't hear a peep from me.

I will also pass on my apologies, I didn't even notice the time.

Our bigger problem was trying to get rid of the stragglers from other clubs (Del Sol and some other club I believe).

The moonshine from across the road didn't help!

May I add my apologies if my Nur Spec woke anyone up when I left around 1.30 for my B&B.

For the record my alcohol reading was 0... :)

I had my earplugs in so barely noticed after I went to bed at 1am. They're a top tip for anyone camping at a festival or show :th:

I shall bring a box with me next year for folk to help themselves to before bed... I can get a box full of proper one's that we use whilst working in our 100db factory

You'll need enough to dish out to those on the other stands within earshot* too...

* That will be as far as the toilet/shower block at the very least! :tumble:

You bunch of yobo's!

Went to bed around 1ish when the games began, to be fair I didn't hear anything but I did sleep through till the morning.

Maybe reserve the games to Friday night instead?

You can blame me. I introduced the game of charades on my phone. If you haven't played it you need to, it is great fun.

But as mentioned we got too carried away so I'm very sorry for the noise.

I went to bed early Friday night so I wasn't tired for footy the next day. Trying to sleep through pumping music was difficult.

Tents are not good sound barriers. Bring your ear plugs folks.
