 Thanks for the update.

The weather forecast actually looks better than it did 24 hours ago.
At least where we're going. As a precaution I have binned the original route.
The revised version features A & B roads only.

List updated & PMs sent.

If it makes you feel better it's not 100% finished she needs to go back to Patrick for some minor snagging. Hopefully it'll all be sorted before japfest

I might still duck out of this, i don't fancy being out on icy roads on summer tyres unless I can avoid it....

:cheeky:

Big :th: to my two wingmen. :)
Commiserations to those whose cars were not ready in time.

Conditions on the run were nothing like what the forecasters would have had you believe.
Some minor lingering snow traces on higher ground but easy to spot and deal with.
A bit of standing water here and there but none of it was frozen.
Just the one patch of (black) ice on a downhill left hander.
A very brief twitch/loss of traction but no drama.
I would rather drive in today's conditions tbh than on roads covered in wet leaves.
Virtually zero traffic for over 90% of the route which was a nice bonus.
We made such good time that I was able to add an impromptu tunnel run (x2). :yahoo:

Really sorry I couldn't make it :annoyed:
My 2 is hopefully oil tight again now, However wasting time on the cam cover gasket has delayed my big brake fitment, So far I have the Front MR2 calipers removed New brackets fitted and the Skyline calipers refurbed and ready to go on, Rev3 rear calipers refurbed and ready to go on. The Supra front discs look huge. And in Gaz rev1tubby's instructions for fitting it said trim the dust shields to accomadate the bigger discs :confused1: mine were dust :laughing :laughing . Hats off to people like Headcase who work on these old cars every day :clapping: mine is 27 years young but only had our weather for 12 years and is still a "censored" to work on 3 in 1 is my friend . Hope to be all sorted for round 2 :)

Thanks for organising another great run tony, the conditions weren't too bad but weather forecasters do love getting a bit dramatic. I think my new paint job has been properly broken in as she's filthy and in need of a nice bath. Now for the long two month wait till round 2
