Re: The MK2 MPG / Fuel Consumption Thread

Post by FirstMidship »

Did the first 100 miles in my car after I serviced it and took it in for MOT.

I used up 13.11 litres of petrol for 102.1 miles so I am getting over 35 MPG using a mixture of town roads, motorway and A-roads. I think I must be driving my MK2 too slowly!

Completely standard Rev 5.

Edit:

So in the last year, I have managed to get some miles done in my NA sw20.

As such, on longer journeys I am getting 40 mpg, roughly 395 miles on 44 litres.

On shorter journeys I am getting 31 to 36 mpg, which is 300 to 350 miles on 44 litres.
