car fob

Post by koalagirl »

Last night I got home and my car would not lock on the fob(central locking remote). I changed the battery in it and it still wouldnt lock. I found the spare one and managed to lock it but I havent used it for years. I am concerned that if I unlock it again, I wont be able to lock it up again. Does this mean there is something wrong with the car or is it just the device and if so how can I sort it out? Any thoughts please?

if your spare one locked off the fob.
that leads me to think your 1st one has lost sync with the car when battery failed
you will need to resync the original fob with your car.

unless its aftermarket like a clifford concept or toad then you will need to look up the manuals online

Not Plan B again!! Why don't we just go with plan B in the first place?
