Getting rid of the Turbo. I've had a Ton of things going on I live in South Wales but my family all live in Crowborough My brother competed in the olympics skeleton last week so I went up and took the turbo up as an opportunity to drop it off to All motion tuning in Crowborough it is a well known garage and it is right next to my fathers company lockup I was going to have David from there restore the Mr2.
He uncovered a lot of hidden problems.
I was led to believe by 3 different garages that it was a pristine shell which needed mechanical love.
David quickly uncovered areas of Filler covering up some awful work on the body in the past and showed me the botch job that had been done on the gearbox (basically botched sealant repairs etc) and oil leaking from the engine. at that point I just said stop.
I was under the impression the body was excellent and I wanted to save the car for the future with no intention of ever selling it but this is not the case now and I have had enough of it and bought a 1 owner from new IS300 Sportcross with shockingly low mileage and drove it home. My car is currently in a lockup next to all motion in Crowborough I have told my father if My brother wants it to play with when he gets home from the Olympics in a few days to give it to him if not sell it.
As for the project I have the code complete, circuit boards printed right here if anyone wants them they can have them.
I couldn't give a F about the money I am just so annoyed at the world of dodgy car sales wtf is wrong with everyone?
Anyway with the Olympics over and all of the above I am done with it all.
Hey buddy, super interested in what you've worked on here, would be willing to have a chat to discuss your work. What would be the best way to contact you further?
