Wednesday Night

Would be nice if we can all meet up for an evening, chat a bit, go through a few things, check everybody has everything and socialise. So Sandwich has a plentiful supply of pubs all serving food. If we could meet up at say 7:30pm? At my place then wander into town, 5 mins walk for some food.

Thursday Crossing

Our train departs at 8:20 and we need to be there at 7:50 latest. I suggest we meet up at the Port Early Services (the jct before the tunnel) as we usually do at 7:30....

Well for me to get to you for that sort of time , i would be leaving in rush hour .

So if you dont mind fella , i was thinking of heading down a bit earlier, leave mine around 3ish , to be with you 5 ish.

Absolutely fine mate. Probably gonna do the morning only at work and head home about 2pm so will be in from 2:30 onwad if you want to get down earlier, having said that, Jessica will be in anyway

We're gonna get a travelex card. The rate is favorable and you use it the same as a VISA credit card but you put cash onto it. Will let you know later mate

A couple of things you should take and do:

• Take a spare set of car keys, and the immobiliser
  
  Take the details of who to contact in an emergency (give these details to one of the other cars)
  
  Put your Passport number in contacts on your mobile phone
  
  If you have travel insurance, put the policy number in contacts on your mobile phone
  
  I think we should pm. each other with our mobile phone numbers now

is it worth me bringing any of my other tools (multimeter,spanners etc)???

as far as spare bits go i have a set of brake pads, spark plugs and alternator belt,any other bits worthwhile taking?

im having a last minute panick lol

OIl, coolant . Octane Booster.GB sticker,HI-Viz,headlight stickers.

I have some oil but dont have any coolant.
I also have tow rope,fuses,tie wraps,full bulb kit,power steering fuild,

I havent started to pack yet. well just my clothes and bits to do , so s normal man thing i will do that in 5 mins anyway.

I thin you've covered it Bob. Michael is taking a large tool chest at the expense of his spare (mad fool) tho there are (3) others so i would hope 4 of us dont get flats!!!

I think my toolkit is big enough for everyone,

Don't forget to take the locking wheel nuts key

I'm not taking any coolant, if it gets to that stage I would just need lots of water.
