Thanks guys and galls for the kind words but you should bear in mind that you haven't got rid of me just yet. Contrary to what some time wasters so far seem to think, I don't plan on selling the car off for chocolate buttons.

If it doesn't sell then there may well be a mini winter project (along with my not so beautiful assistant Ricky2), to squeeze a few more ponies out of her - get the MOT and drive it for another year.

I thought best to let fate decide .....


@Ripley: don't worry 'wee doll', I'll be there in spirit this year and, the way the car market is, I could be there in 2014

@Ricky2: funny guy there is no way I could be as in touch with my feminine side as young Pete. I felt sorry for him thrashing that car to stay up with us so I let him win a game of pool

Mark gave me the most epic introduction of any new person saying hi by bringing over a bag of Haribo to JAE for me related to an old couple of posts we made on a thread. (Obviously he didn't make it over for me! but for JAE ) but I almost fell over backwards when he handed me the Haribo face to face after flying over for the day from Northern Ireland.

Mark, fair play for all the time and energy you have put into the MR2 club scene over the years it is much appreciated both here and on mr2.ie.

Thanks for all the friendly banter between us over the many years, you are more than welcome to share a seat with me for any highland runs I am going to or drives over here, coffee excluded of course not our style.

Now I am off to consider whom to harangue in my N/A now that my Nemesis is moving on, damn you anyway for now
