Apparently mine arrived yesterday. Top man, Jay.

Nearly missed it due to being buried amongst the torrent of junk mail/leaflets.

Broadband - all more expensive than my current tariff.
Cheaper gas/electricity - not.
Estate agents wanting to introduce me to prospective tenants.
A shedload of pizza/Chinese/Indian takeaway menus.
Insurance deals.
Gym membership.
Clothing/shoe ranges.
Mega discount on a new gas boiler.
Designer specs.
Camping/outdoor gear.

Invitation to a information evening on becoming a foster carer.

The only thing missing was inducements to purchase Viagra.
But that's invariably done via the internet and I have a very effective spam filter.

3 tickets & 3 stand passes all arrived safely.

Wake up at the back. I have fostered 4 Mr2s.

One drowned in rather tragic circumstances despite my last ditch efforts to save it.

Another was with me for a short time prior to adoption and now requires a complicated operation. Unfortunately it is Japanese and the programme under which it was allowed to settle in the UK means the NHS refuses to treat it. As the adopter can not afford to keep it,
he is looking for someone else to give it the love and affection it deserves.

Regrettably I am not in a position to do so as the other two are still in my care.

Not convinced I'm going to be able to make this now guys.

I learnt last night that my mum is coming over to stay that weekend (my parents moved to southern Ireland a few years ago), and I seldom get to see her.

Got to decide whether my mother or japshow is more important :

She also wants to go and see her parents (my grandparents obviously), who live in Stroud. Naturally she won't have transport, and she doesn't get to see them very often at all. Looks like I might be going to Gloucestershire on the Sunday instead of the pod booooo!
