You're right Gaz - he's just an 'adviser' now. Not to worry mate, I messaged him, he's got back to me and I've contacted the show organisers now. :th:

Let's see what is said first. :th:
Having just read everything this did cross my mind as well, hopefully it won't come to it however it could be worth considering. Lets hope they get their act together though!

Typical: just when I was considering making a return to JAE...
Not being a Faceache devotee I'm in the dark about any developments.

I've even found a decent B&B from which the showground is reachable without too much hassle.
Anywhere in Peterborough or its outskirts is eye-wateringly expensive for a non-camper.
But that weekend they're taking the p**s. Over £100 a night for a ****** Travelodge ffs!

Think I'd prefer the holiday option instead as well. Andy

There's a historic motorsport event at Zandvoort that weekend, just across the water 🤔

If you think JAE is expensive, have you checked the price of a Liverpool/Douglas return car ferry ticket...?

Bloody hell, just had a quick look £290 for Jae weekend. Originally I only checked for reasonable hotels/ campsites but I didn't think to check the ferry crossing

We could just close the windows, flip the cars upside down and paddle across...? Don't fancy those with t-bars making it though :laughing :laughing

I'm kinda leaning the same way guys, been quiet and watching the JAE thing up to now as I wanted to get a better feel for what's likely to happen but right here, right now, I'm not feeling the JAE love.

I'm doing German Vs Jap the weekend before for sure as I've kinda got a bit fond of that little show :th:

So my vote goes for a MR2 holiday

Is it me, or does it seem a fair bit smaller than previous years? C plots are 18*20m, A plots are 22*30m for reference.

Only C remaining now as well.

Nigel has said it'll open up more once these are sold and this is to try to stop clubs over-booking space.... but it doesn't sound like this information is being relayed.... Plus this also puts the food & trade stands at the furthest reaches from the other side of the site.
