As that’s a real shame Chris, we’ll miss you but look froward to seeing what you have planned for the 86 :th:

Ok folks, please see below details of possible accommodation on Skye for the Thursday Night. Sadly the Uig Hotel which we have used before is full. The details below are for the Dunollie Hotel at Kylakin.

I need to know who is happy to share and those who specifically want a single room as they only have 5 of these available. A speedy response would be appreciated thanks.

25th of April - Dinner, Bed & Breakfast:
Single Room (Single Occupancy) - £ 72.00 per room per night
Double/Twin Room (Double Occupancy) - £104.00 per room per night

Cheers :th:

I'll take a single please. My broken nose snoring and sleep talking may disturb others so think it's best 😂 Andy

Well it seems like the snorers are taken care of so I don't mind sharing. Seem to remember Dick snored when we shared at Uig a couple of years ago but he's not coming

I could volunteer to share with Pete (he'll be baritone, I'll be tenor). OFCs FTW! :yahoo:

If we do end up staying in Broadford instead of Uig, that day's route will be 40 miles shorter.
In which case can we include the B863 (a.k.a the 'Scotsburgring')? :) - https://goo.gl/maps/rogVuex9ZSv

If you and others want to do it fine, as long as we all meet up again at the Corran ferry.

Thanks for sorting Ann, all looks good.

Tony, I think that's a great idea

Thoughts for Friday morning if based in Broadford.

1) A Linear drive from Broadford to Elgol, return trip about 30 miles (B8083)
2) A cirular route from Broadford (A851), then on to B roads to take in the best of Sleat. Total about 36 miles

There is also the option to leave Skye on a Ferry ... :yahoo:
http://skyeferry.co.uk/

In my opinion, this route is on par with Bealach na Ba
Broadford to Kylerhea, ferry, Glenelg (not to be confused with Glenelg on Mars) to Shiel Bridge and the A87
