Provided you do enough full weekend (or longer) shows per year. Not for one event.
I'm not a fan of camping and have done three JAEs without one.
The last two at Kettering and the first one at Newark.
Couldn't do the second one there as I was having fun in Scotland.
The price of accommodation near Peterborough was a total rip-off.
Depends on where they pick whether I will consider going.

Restrictions? Why the 'secret squirrel''? FFS it's a car show, not a summit meeting!
We already know where the G7 and G20 will be held next year btw.

The JAE website home page trumpets 'A new exciting venue for JAE 2019'.
Yet the contact page still has the Peterborough Showground info.
A lack of attention to detail which AFAIAC doesn't inspire confidence.

As some of you may have seen Jae 2019 will start on the Thursday 8th August with a track day at Snetterton for those interested, this will be a separate booking process with limited space for approx. 90 cars.
Then onto the main show located at the Norfolk Showgrounds, access from 3 pm but they will try for earlier, this site has been chosen due to the on site facilities, cost of electric hook up approx, 50% cheaper, no restrictions on Marquee or furniture hire company choice, no noise restrictions, diesel generators currently allowed and show ground not being shared by others simply JAE.
Located just outside the gates of the show ground there are fast food restaurants McDonalds, Kentucky, Hungry Horse Pub, a Sainsbury’s supermarket with cafe and for those not wishing to camp a Premier Inn too.
There will be live music from Toploader, The Fabulators and they are hoping to show films voted for by club members on a big screen, as well as all the usual fun and games.

Interested! :th:

Possibly a target for the engine swap (although I doubt it'll achieve it)

Those are the sort of changes that have been needed for years. Sounds good!

Some people travel from Kent to go to the Highlands every year ;)
