We'll see if rule of six is still in play or not nearer the time. I wasn't certain reading the bbc so just exercising caution. Andy

The easing of lockdown to the 'rule of six' outdoors is due to come into play on 29th March.
It would be a sick joke if this were not to be in place on April 18th.
Although with this shambles of a government and it's U-turns anything is possible!

Hospitality (i.e. café breakfast) is allowed in Step 2 w.e.f. 12th April: again outdoors only.
A far tighter time frame but with luck our usual haunt will be ready to roll by the following weekend.

Nice to still see some old names that I recognise on here!

Waterside cafe...

We are over the moon that hospitality has the green light to reopen from 12th April We have now decided to start taking bookings for our outside seating area.

We will be open 7 days a week, 9am to 4pm, serving breakfast till 12pm as usual.

We will be operating in the same manner as before, inline with government guidelines, with the exception we can only offer outdoor seating for the first 5 weeks.

A quick reminder of the rules to ensure everyone remains safe...

Please follow the one-way system in place throughout the cafe.

Please ensure you are wearing a mask or face covering at all times, unless seated at your table, and use the hand sanitiser provided.

To assist the NHS track and trace, every customer will be required by law to check in using the NHS app, or provide your name and telephone number.

Bookings will be limited to a maximum of 6 people, for safe distancing between tables.

The whole team can't wait to welcome you back to the cafe, after what has been the most extraordinary year, and provide you with the warmest of hospitality.

Basically Tony really wants a blat so thread updated. The reserve list has now been turned into a separate group. Obviously not really an issue in convoy on the run but comes into play at the cafe.

So we are getting towards that date. I have booked a table for six at 0915. Tony will book the other table. Andy
