Brake judder

On braking there is a clear vibration or judder in the brake pedal (especially when braking from high speed not so suprising really). Braking itself is good, hard bite and progressively stronger braking if more force is applied on the brake pedal. Braking is also even, no skewing to one side. Brake disks are quite new (Pagid), also pads are new (both roughly 2000km on them). I have checked the disks for scoring or damages, can't find anything. My only (minor) suspicion was that on one front caliper the sliding bushings/bolts were not moving smoothly and felt a bit 'semi-seized'/gritty (there is movement but requires appreciable force). I haven't (yet) checked the rear brakes.
Any pointers? (concerns a 1991 Rev 1).
Thanks,
Andrew

Could be sticky sliders, sticky pistons or run out on the discs (front or back) or even pads sticking in the calipers.
Disc run can be checked with a DTI there's a procedure laid out in the BGB for doing it
