Coolant leak from heating pipes from hell(?) above fuel tank, where to get parts!
Hello all
My mysterious overheating and coolant loss problem has been finally traced to the pipes that run over the fuel tank to the heating matrix.
They have been currently bypassed to allow use of the car but I have no heating in the car now (winter come, essential).
Do you think I can get replacement parts?
What would I be looking for ? I'll be embarrassingly honest and say I couldn't make heads or tales of the EPC for this. I didn't even have any idea if I am looking at the right pipes, I've found part numbers 16577 and 16599 but I think these are going to the radiator, not the heating matrix.
any help or advice, greatly appreciated.
thanks

or you do as many have inc me take proper size coolant pipes (silicon or rubber) whole length under the fuel tank and bypass the faulty hard pipes.
There was another thread detailing pipe size and length in KY2 (link above came from there) but cant see it now. cant remember the size sorry.
you can measure the size in engine bay from top of the pipes to coolant tree for internal diameter.
took me an afternoon to fit .
