Hello again!

Back in my 20s I owned 2 MR2s, first an aqua coloured one and then… THIS ONE!!! Not one like this, but this exact car .

I’d been looking for a purple MR2 since I moved home from Australia 4 years ago but it seemed impossible. Then I found one a few weeks ago but without the T-bar, then on Saturday I almost bought a shiny new purple BMW but the salesman was a patronising "censored" so I told him where to go.

On Sunday I searched MR2s again… found this model but it was already sold. One last Google and I found my car… and that was that, it was going to be mine again.

First up is sorting out the catalytic converter, second is un-lowering it. I want to make it as original as possible (but I’ll keep the CarPlay) and I’ll still be listening to Shaggy .

Yep… I’m excited (and possibly soon to be broke)

I hope! It doesn't look too bad but it's also lower than it should be and I like pizza too much to fit under

I'm going to take it to my mechanic first up and get his view and then sort out the shocks. A previous owner has also messed with the exhaust so that's on the list... I'm aiming for original spec.
