Good morning!

Ok, so I ran a poll and with the votes that came in, it was a 50/50 split between Japshow and Modified Live so I have taken the executive decision to run this show again this year.

For those of you that know the drill, this is the first national social event of the year, always producing a good laugh and old and new members joining together. Every year we leave with new friends (and just recently, burning butts!). The show itself may have declined in past years but Santa Pod are seriously looking to resurrect this show so there may be far more on offer this year. However, one of the highlights has to be the drunken Dodgems on the Saturday night and the sheer fact that as a club we put together to have fun

The show itself has been moved back to July to try and secure better weather for everyone. Better weather means better camping. With a communal BBQ, chilli challenges, my own home brew, a bit of music and great company, this show really demonstrates what the OC is about. For those that are curious about how their car performs, there is also the chance to run the 1/4mile drag strip.

At the moment I am just getting down numbers, I have fixed us a pitch for 25 cars (which can be increased if necessary) and camping is included in the price. A weekend ticket costs £21 (£20 for the ticket plus £1 to cover postage to get the tickets and stand pass to you 1st class) and day passes are also available for Sunday at £13 (£12 plus £1 postage).

So, we have 25 slots to fill on possibly one of the most entertaining weekends of the years. Get your name down and I'll do the rest

OK, update for everyone. We now have a pitch booked.

Donna is trying her best to resurrect this show so we can only see what they have come up with

At least they accept that the past couple of years have been disappointing and are trying to do something about it.

I know what you mean about getting the 2 out this year - I am in the same boat myself

Jody and I want to come! for the whole weekend. im turning a grand old 23 on the 6th too! haha. would like to know if the skyline can come to? we usually have it on the Sumo power stand before I joined you guys, but would rather they were together.
