MR2 Owners Club

We have to be on the Club stand by 08.30 so the plan is as follows.

Provisional timings.
Leave M25 services Clacket Lane 05.00
Arrive M4 services Chieveley 06.30
Leave Chieveley at 06.45 (latest)
Arrive Lydiard Fields Swindon 07.15
Depart Lydiard Fields 07.30 (latest)
Arrive Combe 08.00

We will again be using the TLF back road route™ to Combe.
However the end bit will be slightly different from last year.
That's because we are entering via the yellow entrance gate not the red one.


So we have to reach it from the east (Chippenham: more traffic) rather than the west (Bristol).

Now for the best news: for the first time in many years our pitch is in a prime location.

The track side of the path at Avon Rise!
So only a short walk to both Quarry and the paddock/trade stands.

Please post your RV point if you are joining so that I know who to expect.

Also im glad to say that the motorway junction by lydiard fields roadworks have now finished.

If we are entering via chippenham there is heavy roadworks at the chippenham to combe roundabout (just after morrisons).

All being well i will be collecting my car from rogue tommorow and the kit put back on before jdmcombe. It has passed its mot so will be there.

So theres only 4 of us going?!?!

Also, we (my dad and myself with our passengers) will need to be leaving by about 2.30pm as our passengers have a wedding to attend so ideally we need to be easily accessible to the path if possible please.
