Manual choke conversion

Hi,
I'm a new member and interested in a manual choke conversion. I see 'kits' were available but as I'm new to the forum it haven't got the hang of using it yet so can't find who has the kits. Is it Paul?
Anyway a quick hello and if anybody can point me in the direction of who has the kit or solenoid for sale then great.
Cheers,
Mike

Hi
yes you are right Paul Woods sells them its a "Woodsport Mk1 MR2 Manual Choke Conversion Kit" and they can be found on his website http://www.woodsport.org/joomla/index.p ... sport-shop it is 3rd from the bottom of the shop list.
I have no experience of this kit but this is the only kit I have really heard of
hope this helps.
Mike

Fitting Paul's kit was about the first mod I did to my car many years ago, definitely worth doing.

I fitted Pauls kit, but instead of a switch to turn it on/off, I used a push button to activate a Maplin E555 timer kit fitted into a small project box with the variable resistor adjusted to keep it on for approximately 3 minutes. It works great.
