P0100, P003C codes triggered.

Post by LBound »

Recently got my car (05 reg) back from the MOT and new handbrake cables.

Shortly after this the engine management light came on. An OBD scan comes up with:

P0100
Mass air flow (MAF) sensor/volume air flow (VAF) sensor - circuit malfunction
Mass or Volume Air Flow Meter Circuit Malfunction

P003C
Intake camshaft profile control A, bank 1 - performance or stuck off

P004C
Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control "B" Circuit Low

It's a cheap reader with the torque app.
If I clear them the light comes back on after around 10 miles of driving with the same codes.

The car runs as well as it did before. It doesn't seem to cause any issues while driving.

I've given the MAF sensor a clean (with MAF cleaner).
Does anyone have any ideas what to look for next?

Thanks

:confused1: given MR T never offered either on the MK3 I'd be looking for a second opinion on what the codes are ;)
Black is not a colour ! .... Its the absence of colour
