T-vis sensors and connectors

Hi. New the forum and new to playing with cars. I have searched the internet and different forums, but I can't seem to find overview of the "sensors" in the T-vis. If this is already discussed heavily on the forum I'm sorry I have a 86 MR2 N/A.

Please see photo. Thanks

That's a 1a engine (which is slightly different in layout to the 1b) the sensors aren't for the T-VIS they are for the ECU.
Yellow one is the AIT (Air Inlet Temperature) sensor
The other one isn't a sensor as such, it's a vacuum port, one line goes to the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor (on the rear bulkhead behind and to the right of the Air Intake, the part with the T-VIS badge on it) the other line goes via a solenoid to the FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator)
JFYI
T-VIS is a system (ie a collection of components) not a component, stands for Toyota Variable Induction System, this article gives a basic explanation of how it works CLICKY

I also notice in the picture that it has a pretty rough copy of one of my throttle brackets

and the idle up circuit appears to be bypassed (two pipes linked together on the throttle body) ?

Thanks. Much appreciate it!

I have installed the bracket 😁 and everything looks much better with it.

When I bought the car the idle up circuit was bypassed as the picture shows. It also had an aftermarket open air filter. Im replacing this with an original and will need to speculate on where the vacuum lines go in a couple of weeks 😬

You could have got the real thing, I still make them ;)
Idle up piping is straight forward, is the idle up solenoid still there ?

I thought I was getting the real thing. I searched the web for a Jimi-bracket and got my one from Neil Jones. Kind of thought he was a distributor...

By Idle-up solenoid do you mean this?

That person is a thief ! What you got was a pirate copy, he stole my design and sells expensive copies on ebay without my permission, unless you buy a second hand one of mine (which that isn't) the ONLY place to get a new one is from me. https://jlawson.co.uk/originalsite/
Sorry you got ripped off.
If that's located down above the gearbox, then that's it.
Edit
I see it's attached to the battery tray, that will be it. :th:
