Hi all,
It's been about 8 years or so since I was last here but am thinking of coming back - I shouldn't have sold my last MR2 and the time is right to get another - this would be my 3rd I've had over time...
Am looking for a MK2 Rev1 T-Bar Automatic, so it will have to be an Import to meet that spec.
Left hand drive would be amazing as I travel to the continent occasionally, but I think the chance of that is about as likely as finding Lord Lucan picking up some rocking horse doo-doo in a snowstorm in hell.
Budget is up to £4K but may go higher for the right car.
If anyone knows of any out there currently available in the range, I'd be interested to hear.
Am checking Facebook Marketplace / Gumtree / Autotrader / eBay / Pistonheads daily to see if anything comes along.
I have had a look at a couple on those but nothing to sway me yet, although when I sat in the first one I looked at it felt like coming home after a long holiday so II know now is the right time.

Hi,
Any particular reason for a rev 1? Later revision autos would be easier I'd have thought. Avoid the 3sfe.

I much prefer the look of the rev1. 3 piece spoiler looks more like it belongs there rather than the later 1 piece that, to me, looks like an after thought
I guess a rev 2 works too...
Have owned 2x rev 1s in the past so to me it's the right place to be.

Well I have found and purchased one.
Or paid deposit anyway.
Not quite the spec I was looking for - 1996 but all other boxes ticked and in amazing condition.
Collect on Monday.
