MR2 Owners Club

Hello,

I've just bought my first MR-2 (well actually it's an MR-S) after searching far and wide for my perfect car, so please excuse my ignorance...

I've found this keypad on the top right hand corner of my windscreen and was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is?

Also, I've had a look and this one's had the pre-cats taken out, which saves me a job, are there any other problems I should be looking to prevent?

I am under the impression that it might be some alarm kind of thing...

I'll get some pics when I head out tomorrow, thanks for the replies. I think you might be on to something with the security system suggestion, strange thing is you can't actually use the keypad, you can't press the keys. Ah well, keeps me guessing, keeps life interesting.

You used to be able to buy a device called the "avenger". You pressed a button when you were annoyed with someone and it'd make weapon noises or shout insults depending what you pressed.

Probably nothing to do with your car but it reminded me..
