Clip on ht leads and oil?

Hi all tried searching I know it sounds thick but is there a certain way to un clip the ht leads as they are ok but want to replace dizzy cap and rotar arm.
Also am doing oil and genuine filter and spark plugs and air filter.
What oil ?
It's a N/A car rev2 1992 i have read a few topics i was thinking 10w 40 mobil or was gunna just go up to my local toyota dealer and get there oil 10w 40 5ltr for £20

like most leads there is a knack. there is a locking lug that needs pressing. simple really when you have done one

oil - ran 10w40 in mine, mobile 1 or castrol magnatec.

Whilst in there whip off the dizzy cap and inspect the contacts and rotor arm. You can scrape off some of the furring on the contacts with a flat screwdriver and a little rub with Emery paper for the contact on the rotor arm
