Took a drive to York Raceway on Monday

Decided to give her a good thrashing as it was jap shootout day for the run what you brung session. The car's only got breathing mods in the way of an Apexi filter and Blitz Nurspec exhaust but I've just fitted a trick gearbox so wanted to give it a try. Not sure on the ratios it has in but 2nd to 4th are shorter than normal and it has a 2 way dif in. The 255's I'm running on the rear help for grip aswell. Came 10th overall and 3rd in class so was pretty chuffed.

Are you going to make a habit of going? I tend to pop through to run my rev 3 turbo from time to time, it'd be nice to see some other MR2's there more often.

A tenner each to get into the grounds and spectate, or an extra £30 to register for RWYB. It's more fun taking part. Hopefully I'll crack into the high 12's next time I go!

As of two days ago, yeah. She's now at 17-18psi instead of 14-15psi. Should hopefully make enough of a difference. Feels quicker off the mark anyway. I'm still fine tuning it at the moment though, so hopefully I won't make it go bang...

Yeah, hope to be there more next year. I plan a decat and intercooler upgrade over the winter so should get a little better. She boosts to 1 bar at the mo but I fancy going as high as 1.3 next year.

me and my mates go to york quite often only been once in the MR and managed a 15.9 not bad for a tired old NA ill be going again soon tho when i get my new engine slapped in
