tach signal on ignition assy?
where is the wire for the tach signal found on ignition assy.

Don't why I'm bothering to help you, as my last attempt to do so resulted in a dumb email which I think you should apologise for
However just in case the mr2dc :roflmao: can't help you:
Tacho signal comes from the igniter on the RHS of the engine bay, green plug, pin 2, a black wire.
It's also available on the service connector in the engine bay (just to the LHS side of the throttle body) pin 18 ( marked IG) also a black wire.

tach signal on ignition assy?
somethings wrong with this using ignition coil neg for tach signal gives dodgy reading on tacho do i need an adapter or get signal elswhere.

:-? Waht are you trying to do with it ? that's where the MK1 tachometer is driven from.
