Newbie here.
Whats the black Shark Fin Looking thingy on the back of my car? (technical i know! lol) Initial thought was that it was the aerial but then realised that that rises and falls from the back side panel.
Anyone know?
Just curious more than anything.

cant make out what it is, am i right in thinking thats the engine bay lid in the pic?? in wich case ive never seen anything like it before or a break light in that position.

Looks like an aerial, could it be for something other than the stereo? Also are there any wires underneath it or visible near it?

That's because its a MK3 and that is the location of the centre brake light.
Looks like some sort of antenna. Not stock however so its an after thought for something.
They'll take the internet off us if people keep doing this.
