my mate's mk 3 had a water leak which ran into the cubby hole on the n/s.
the transmission module was soaked,he dried it out but still nothing.
he cannot get the car started due to not being able to get it into neutral.
mrt has quoted £570 for the module,but they say they have never sold one!
is there anything else he can check?.

On mk2 auto`s you can do a diagnostic check,
surely there should be something similar on the 3`s.
