Indeed, the breakfast was very good! The fact they used proper sausages is a big thumbs up from me.

FYI, the calipers are rebuildable, kits available from Bigg Red:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-MR2-SW ... 1687862245
While you're at it, you can replace the slider pins too:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-MR2-SW ... 1864842027
Really, you should replace both sides at the same time. If one caliper is working much more efficiently than the other one (chances are the other one isn't the best either), then the car will pull to one side under braking - the heavier you brake, the harder it will pull to the side with the good caliper.
The caliper itself is seldom the issue unless the bore in which the pistons slide is totally fubared. It is corroded pistons and sliders which are at the root of 99.9% of any problems.
The front brakes on my G-Ltd were binding like a b***h. A visit to the Essex Brake Clinic™ resulting in some serviceable cleaned up s/h pistons and sliders + new seals effected a total transformation.
Now THAT really made me...Gazza_DJ wrote:Can confirm, I'm pretty sure Stu could rebuild an MR2 caliper blindfolded!

iv just spent £95 on a new caliper as they claim they don't do repair kits as garages has repaired calipers wrong in the past or something,
I'm probably going to get the kit so at least I can repair both sides and sliders instead of just the one, be a cheaper option also
Thanks for the advise guys, well appreciated

Garages won't touch refurb kits as they don't have the time. They'd rather just fit a new caliper as it's easier. If a garage was to refurb a caliper the labour cost would outweigh the price of a new caliper. Hence that's why I do my own:).
