Thanks for the offer Steve but whatever it is I won't be able to get the parts quick enough now. I worked on it for four days solid and to be quite honest I'm done in and out of ideas.

Hi Ian, sent you a pm but not sure my bit got included. Really gutted you and Alan would be able to join us. We will miss the banter and pool playing skills to say the least.CleMR2 wrote:Thanks for the offer Steve but whatever it is I won't be able to get the parts quick enough now. What exactly is wrong with the car? Obviously not an easy fix.

Thanks Ann, your PM just seemed to be a quote of my message so I guess something technical messed up.
As far as the car is concerned it tramlines wildly at speed as though something is loose somewhere but I can't find the source, it feels dangerous at times and I've totally lost confidence in it.

I think the competition odds just lengthened by a fair amount.Ripley wrote:We will miss the banter and pool playing skills to say the least.

Ah Ian, will miss you and Alan ... Shame about the car, been there with similar issues myself. I was worried myself today if I'd be in the Lotus due to a sudden coolant loss but I'm pleased to say I'm back in the running.
Take care bud, get booked for next year
