Anyone changed their car?

Post by alanwheeldon »

What's everyone going in this year?
Same as before, got any new mods or will you be in a different car?

My car is always changing. My MR2 should be back on the road, I have fitted a brand new Turbo which now runs well, so no more smoke (well nearly no more smoke, it is a MR2 after all 😂)
New Blitz exhaust is now on and it's rather loud but in a good way.
Bert (the cars name) is now wearing a body kit consisting of Border rear spats and Bomex side skirts.
Jobs left to do are fit the Border front bumber, fibreglass wings and carbon bonnet. Also need for maintenance some new rear tyres and some new front brakes which ain't warped so I can go faster 😛

Me and Ria were only going to go in one car this year to save on money but as we keep arguing on which car to bring and who is driving when, we have decided to spend a bit more and take both cars again so the Supra will be tagging along but now is should be around 400bhp come April 😎

Busy bee me 😎

the wheels still bent from last time... oh, and I'll hopefully have some new Bilstein dampers fitted. I'll definitely be removing the front lip again too

Possibly a rev 1 or 2 tubby, just not sure what car will be wrapped around it and whether Ricky or I will be driving it :zip

Will be back in the rev3 Turbo again, rebuilt front brakes this time and some bodywork will have been done along with my shiny new windscreen to trash. Should be fun...

Well unfortunately I have not managed to get my MR2 back up to scratch so me and Ria will just be in the one car this year.
I don’t know how we are going to cope, we will have to talk to each other 😂

No change to T2 other than a new coil pack.
The casing of the old one split open wider than the Grand Canyon!
