Uprated CV joints in the UK ?
Hi there
Seem to be struggling to find where to get these, my inner cv joints have had it, people have commented on uprated versions being a good choice - but where do you get them (preferably in the UK)
Gavin

No idea about a UK source. I think you'll be looking across the pond for uprated ones.
When I was at Patrick's on Friday I understood he was having some issues in getting them shipped over.

I've not seen UK seller for them. Does yours use standard Turbo driveshafts?

The inner CV joint is mr2 turbo. the drivers side has a different shaft.SonicSW20 wrote: ↑28/07/20 10:58 I've not seen UK seller for them. Does yours use standard Turbo driveshafts?

However i don't think it was new when it went on in 2012, so it's of unknown origin (and maybe not a good place to build from)
Having a look at that driveshaft shop, twosrus have some at a price.

Yeah I spoke with Paul, he has pattern OEM replacements and a set of HD balls and cages for OEM.
OEM bits are long since discontinued I think
I need balls, cages and the inner races on both sides and i'm not sure I want to put new balls and cages into the flaky cv joints i have. New sets are on the way

What did you go for? Febi Bilstein make "pattern" replacements for turbo spec CV's but they're weaker than stock.

Sadly a weird twist of scheduling fate means my car is probably going to be roadworthy by the 30th, but I'm not able to make it.
