For anyone wanting a club stand ticket & pass please don't buy anything off the Japday website. The club ticket links to a form which us as a club need to fill in for all our ticket requirements which is how they know how big a stand to give us.

Either Jay or myself will add a payment link here at some point where you will pay for your ticket and we will buy the club tickets in one go. The closing date is not until the end of March so we have quite a while to book yet so no panic.

If you are wanting to book track time this is not booked by the club you will need to purchase this yourself from the Japday website. As said above, they will be changing the website shortly so that you are able to pick the time of the sessions you want.

Just checked the site and we can now book a time slot for each track session booked. It's £30 per 15 mins.

I'm gonna get a couple of sessions booked but would be good to be in a session with some other mr2s.

What are people booking?

For clarity, the Novice/Standard timed track slots are on the public Buy Tickets page, not the C\ar Clubs one - http://www.japday.co.uk/buy-tickets/

The confusion arises because you can book individual time through the Car Clubs page but it does not differentiate between Novice and Standard nor does it give session times. That's because, as the form shows, it is designed for all club members to go out together in the same session(s) which will be allocated by the organisers. Absent sufficient numbers for an exclusive one(s), we would be sharing the tarmac with another club/clubs.

One slightly annoying feature is that, unlike with some TDOs, you have no way of knowing how full each Novice/Standard session is, so you have to be quick off the starting block in order to guarantee getting the time slot you want.

It is VITALLY important that tickets are purchased through the club and not through the Japday Website as it is the only way we can ensure that we are together as a club for this. It's their first year for this show so are a little green and haven't quite got themselves on the ball :th:

Unfortunately they have made it a bit too complicated to do a club session on the track this year so I would just book through the site. Hopefully next year they would have learnt enough lessons to make it work :th:
