Getting a meet up organised.

Hi everyone in the Yorkshire / North East area!

My 1988 JDM Mk1b T-Bar has been in getting some bodywork tidying up done and I'm due to collect it 19/8/22. It would be great to meet up with some other fairly local owners for a ride out, once I have my car back.

I live in Bishop Auckland, County Durham but I'm happy to travel a reasonable distance. Anybody up for it?

As it happens I haven't collected my car today because I wasn't happy with a couple of things when I arrived to get it. I'm extremely pee'd off and will update here when I finally have it back.

Thanks for your reply. I'm open to travelling a few miles if needed. If we can get a few of us together I would happily do an overnight hotel and make it a bit more of a weekend. I'm retired now so could do during the week too.

Yakushi definitely sounds like something I would be interested in but, at this rate, I'm far from sure I will have my car back before then. Appreciate the heads-up though .

Evenings - What time did you have in mind? I'm conscious that it's getting darker earlier now . I could do daytime too, usually any day of the week with a little notice.

Thirsk is easy enough to get to for me.
I know a few others not on the forum that might be up to meet in that area if we could sort out a location and day.
Im working during the day so it would have to be around 6 in an evening if doing a week day.
weekends are usually pretty busy for me but i could probably get over one afternoon.

Deffo plan ahead for Yakushi next year.

I working like mad at the moment supposed to have retired last year but !!! & off to Crfu on thursday when Im back we will have to put our heads together
