Head unit, mirrors, clock and elec mirrors not working
Hi all,
Hoping someone can help me.
I dropped my mk2 rev3 N/A off a few weeks ago to have the passenger wing mirror replaced, everything worked fine at that point. When I picked it up the radio, elec mirrors, clock and cig lighter weren't working.
I've checked every fuse in the car and they are all fine (all 3 boxes). I've swapped any fuse that is remotely linked to the radio etc with a new one and still no joy.
I've managed to exhaust my technical knowledge now and really don't want to pay for an auto electrician to sort it if I don't have to.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Firstly, where are you? there might be someone local that can have a look at it for you,
Secondly, if you have a multi meter or test light check the power into the fuses in the foot well there is a main fuse in there that feeds the cabin area, I think it is a 30 amp, just check there is power getting to it.

I'm just guessing, but could there be a common earth?
Still, I'd be inclined to take it back to whoever fubared it!

As far as im aware ,all those work of the same curcuit ,so if someone has been fixing the mirror ,i would say the fuse has gone ,or the main feed to the fuse box
check the dome fuse in the front ,and main fuses 15 16 17 18 19

Hi guys,
Thanks for your replies.
I've already checked all fuses and there's no issues. Used a meter a few days ago and there's power for each of the fuses.
Everything else that runs from the cabin fuse box works fine so there's defo power getting to the actual box.
