HKS Turbo timer

Post by MR2 Turbo Jo »

Hi guys,

ive been on and off this for the last year.

My intention was to do up my mk2 rev 1 turbo over the winter months but not been able to do it due to other commitments. Since its been sat in the garage the battery had gone flat and reset the turbo timer. The turbo timer was fitted in Japan and can not seem to get hold of the set up guide, has anyone got any ideas of how to get it working again??

Thanks

Best advice I can give you, is to remove it, and put it in the bin.

Just drive off boost for the last few minutes of your journey, thats all you need. :th:

The deuce will surely be missed, until the second turbo comes online :th:

I'm inclined to agree. But you may find a manual here.

I love my turbo timer it means I can turn the engine on on cold mornings and leaving it running so it defrosts and warms ups the car, and I don't have to leave the keys in and I can lock it up.

Other than that I never use it
Mr2 G limited (gt-s engine) broken but fun
Mr2 uk 156 bhp - in bits
Mr2 gt 170bhp - with the parents

If its broken hit it with a hammer if its still broken get a bigger hammer

Which one do you have?

type 0
type 1
type 1 black

If, as I do, you have the updated version with the remote display unit, instead of separate buttons it has a single multi-function one to cycle through the menus. The available functions/settings are the same AFAIK.
