HKS Turbo timer
Hi guys,
ive been on and off this for the last year.
My intention was to do up my mk2 rev 1 turbo over the winter months but not been able to do it due to other commitments. Since its been sat in the garage the battery had gone flat and reset the turbo timer. The turbo timer was fitted in Japan and can not seem to get hold of the set up guide, has anyone got any ideas of how to get it working again??
Thanks

Re: HKSTurbo timmer
Best advice I can give you, is to remove it, and put it in the bin.
Just drive off boost for the last few minutes of your journey, thats all you need.

Re: HKSTurbo timmer
I love my turbo timer it means I can turn the engine on on cold mornings and leaving it running so it defrosts and warms ups the car, and I don't have to leave the keys in and I can lock it up.
Other than that I never use it

Which one do you have?MR2 Turbo Jo wrote:The turbo timmer was fitted in Japan and can not seem to get hold of the set up guide, has anyone got any ideas of how to get it working again??
type 0
type 1
type 1 black
If, as I do, you have the updated version with the remote display unit, instead of separate buttons it has a single multi-function one to cycle through the menus. The available functions/settings are the same AFAIK.
If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room!
