having seen the mr2 village, with suspect location and imminent rain, i really hope none of you bear a grudge that i jumped ship to the japnortheast stand in the paddock!
i saw the civic on the saturday night, stopped to make sure it hadn't just happened, i.e. no-one knocked out sat in the car!
what did everyone think to the new layout? i thought it was suspect- all attention should be focussed on the paddock imo.

well whoever that car belonged to, someone in a tranny was parked in the field opposite and was running across the road with their speakers when we went past on way home this arvo!
edit.. just noticed that in the pic the rear window was in tact, when we went past about 2ish the rear was smashed in and the boot open!

rhon thats absolutely shocking :(
mind you my gf's just pointed out, hopefully it was the owners recovering their stuff, because you wouldn't want to leave it full of sound system etc.... although probably wasn't them. imagine the insurance claim- "i crashed it, and then erm, yeah, someone nicked all the nice bits!"

especially that close to the 'pod' doubtful if insurance would pay out anyway!

I'm not sorry I couldn't make this meet, but I am sorry that I missed you guys.
That Civic is a sad state of affairs......if it had happened to one of the OC's members and their car, I can state firmly hand on heart, that within minutes, who ever was still around at the time would be right there lending a hand to help in anyway they could, getting on the phone to other people to ask them for their help too.
Nothing in the car would have been stolen, The OC folks would make damn sure of it, and the car itself would be on a flat bed truck (if needed) within 2 or 3 hours.
Thats what I love about the OC we all pull together.
If I see an MR2 parked up on the hard shoulder, looking sorry for itself, I pull over and offer assistance (if I can) or the very least my mobile phone.
Moral of the story....ditch the civic...(opps already been done) and get an MR2
