Any opinions ???

I think the price is high considering the faults but might be worth a cheeky offer.....maybe??

Cheers

thats the trouble the seller seems fairly genuine in his advert but going up and down on emissions it obviously isnt running right could be not alot could be pre cat failure. maybe worth a look and knock him down depending on what you can see. my 2p

failed emissions on a new cat?

could be as simple as a lambda, the cat not being hot enough? you could ask if he knows which specifics it failed on the emissions? on the flipside it could be his mate mechanic thats told him its fubarred and to get rid. So be wary

Aerial looks dodgy too stuck slightly up minor detail but circa a beast to sort

Bit expensive for a car with possible problems, id class that as a rolling shell. Busted clutch that is fixable, if its a "censored" engine then your looking at 1k before you know it.

Could a lamda sensor or the MOT place testing it wrong. Best bet go look at it, see if there is some private road you can drive it on, do a compression leak down test on the engine.

Id offer 2.3k at most.
