Essex MR2 Meets - getting back into it / changes to format
Hi all,
Been a while! I want to get back into the local meet organisation, it has dropped off over winter for various reasons. Suns out now!
For a long time now, the format has been a simple pub meet on a weekday. Does this format still work for everyone? I have been thinking about this, and one of things I thought may make a nice change is varying it between the pub meets, weekend drives (weekday drives as the days get longer!), and possibly other activities like Karting for example.
I'm not going to add a poll as I want to read what you want to see happen. Leave your comments below.

A weekday evening pub meet still works for me. I like the idea of variety too.
The only issue for me re weekends is there aren't enough of them!
Don't know about other folk but spare spaces in my calendar are at a premium...

I quite like the idea of other activities especially over the winter months where some of us put our 2s in to hibernation
ETA
21st June is summer solstice that deserves an evening run to make the most of the longest day of the year

Good idea Angelo - Lots of choice for some nice roads in Essex to make a small run to end at a pub, fish and chip shop, or something like that.

Finchingfield ticks all the boxes.
No less than 3 pubs to choose from.
The Fox.
The Finchingfield Lion.
The Three Tuns,

Yeah, I was thinking out that way, or out towards Birch, Abberton etc

Finchingfield is only an hour from me on a clear run and could also attract more interest as a bit more central? I might be wrong though, I don't know the area! I would be up for joining a few of these meets
