Er, why not? Look at the booking form again. Track day passenger fee is £5.

Or are you simply refusing to take him with you to the show? :laughing

Also this interesting bit...
Booking Form wrote: No novices are allowed on track and anyone entering for track time must have driven on a minimum of one track day previously. Selling of passenger rides is not permitted.

I read that as no passenger rides period. Didn't realise you could take passengers still.

I haven't read the t&c on site but just what was highlighted here.

It will require two things.

- Someone with a Paypal account to collect the cash. Not me tho' as I don't have one.
- Sufficient numbers to commit and stump up for a ticket (and track time if desired).

Maybe?

The earlier this can get off the ground the better chance we might have of getting a decent pitch.

:laughing I left #2 open for you. Of course if you don't want a place on the podium... ;)

Must remember: track time is not a race. Can't have a repeat of last year's 1db glitch though.
Will have to fit my HKS Super Drager for the day to pass the noise test!

I have asked the Japday organisers to clarify a few things as their website and booking forms are a bit confusing.

The booking form stated that no novice drivers were allowed on track but there were novice track sessions available to buy. They have confirmed that novices are allowed.

Passenger tickets are available and can be bought from the site. They state on the booking form that selling of passenger rides are not permitted. By this they mean if someone who has bought an all day passenger ticket who you don't know comes up and offers to pay you to co pilot, it is not permitted for you to accept the money.

It also stated on the form that individual track time could only be booked through your club via the booking form. This is not true, you can purchase your own track time from the website like we always did for Japfest and then the club will purchase your stand pass/entry ticket.

They have sent me an amended booking form with the changes but they have not as yet updated the website. Hope that answers some of your questions.
